Q: How long have you been practicing dentistry?
A: I graduated in 2012 with my dental degree from Mumbai(India). After that I worked [in India] for 3 years before moving to the US in 2015. Since then I have been shadowing/volunteering at a private practice in New Jersey.

Q: What is your favorite part about being a dentist?
A: I have a liking for Pediatric dentistry and am looking forward to specialization in that field.

Q: What made you want to come to Iowa?
A: During my application process I went to couple schools for interview but UIOWA was unique in its method of teaching and giving students the experience they need to be good dentist. The clerkship model is one example of its uniqueness.

Q: What is your favorite type of procedure in dentistry?
A: Extraction of teeth.

 

Q: What are you looking forward to?
A; Improving my skills and learning to practice dentistry in the most perfect way possible.

 

Q: What is your favorite part of Iowa City?
A: Honestly. I haven't been around a lot to have a favorite place yet.

Q: What is an unusual skill or hobby you have?
A: I like painting/drawing. Also like playing tabla (Indian classical instrument)
