I attended the IASDA Pre-Dental Summer Academy this year. I highly recommend for people to attend it, whether you are unsure about dentistry as your career or have already applied to dental school!! It was an amazing experience. We were able to do tons of hands-on activities including building a tooth out of wax, taking impressions to make a cast, and making a mouth guard.
The hands-on activities were super fun! We were able to work one on one with many current dental students that were super lively and helpful! After attending the camp , you get a great feeling of what it takes and the process of applying to dental school. You also see what your daily life will be like as a dental student! Overall, it was very well worth it and a great time!
